What a
great May Day! It started with a paddle and then the
candle lighting. We remembered those that have
given their lives for our freedoms as well as other
loved ones that have passed recently. Great
day, great opportunity for friends to get together.
Mahalo goes out to Tim and 10-Ley, Fran and Mac and
brada Ramon for the fantastic grinds. Hopefully this event will grow a little each year. |

Now is the time to really
work on those lungs. If you have not been cross training you
better get out there and run, swim or bike. Regatta is fast and furious. Sprinting
in a 6man canoe requires everything we've been training on and also
strong lungs. |

Casa Colina Outdoor
Adventures, a program that focuses on empowering people with
disabilities by creating opportunities for challenging and exciting
experiences in the out-of-doors spent the afternoon with us teaching the
Hawaiian art of paddling. |

Film crew utilizes our
services and canoes to shoot a small scene. Thank you to the
paddlers that participated in moving the crew and equipment down to
Allerton's beach. |

Our mixed masters is a
force to be reckoned with, pulling hard to achieve 1st place in every
race they enter. Also, coming on strong is our men's novice crew
pulling 3rd place in the open category at the Niumalu Long Distance. |
